No person ever does anything alone.  There are always others who contribute in some way to the success of the activity or operation.  I would like to express my appreciation to the following for their assistance to my "Accidental DX-pedition."

- To Jack Kaufmann, W4GFZ, (now a Silent Key), who introduced me to Amateur Radio in 1967 and struggled to teach an impatient teenager.  May your signals always be 59.

- To my lovely XYL, Dawn, for keeping the home fires burning while I sought adventure in faraway lands.

- To Rudi, VE9RHS, for volunteering to be my QSL manager.

- To Ham Radio Outlet, Atlanta, for working within my meager budget and on short notice to equip me with a decent radio.

- To Neal Carr, GØJHC, for putting me in touch with six meter Hams in the USA

- To -----, for lending me, a total stranger, his Icom six meter radio to carry to Africa so that I might put SØ on six meters.

- To -----, for lending me a collapsible three-element six meter yagi.

* I'm afraid I have forgotten the call signs of the two Hams who were generous in loaning me equipment.  One was in Atlanta and the other in Pennsylvania.  Both have also changed their call signs since then, I believe.  If either of you should read these pages, please contact me and refresh my aging memory.  Thanks!
