Get Involved in Class Discussions

PARTICIPATE. Knowing when to listen is as important as knowing when to speak.

RESPECT OTHERS' OPINIONS. There are many ways to look at the same issue. Be open to what others have to say. |
| USE YOUR OWN WORDS TO SUMMARIZE WHAT'S BEEN SAID. This will help you understand what the speaker said. And it lets the speaker know that you heard what he or she said. |
