TAKE GOOD NOTES

KNOW WHAT TO RECORD.
Record the speakers main points. Don't try to write everything down.

REVIEW YOUR NOTES AS SOON AS YOU CAN AFTER CLASS OR AFTER YOU'VE TAKING THEM FROM A READING ASSIGNMENT.
Highlight the points that seem most important. Go over your notes at least once a day. This helps keep the information fresh in your mind.

LISTEN FOR KEY WORDS.
"The major cause was..."  "The 4 main steps...," etc.

ATTEND SCHOOL DAILY.
You can't take notes if you're not present. It's not a good idea to rely on someone else's notes to replace your responsibility of being a school each day

KNOW HOW TO RECORD IT.
