
Ms. Jonevia Walker's 6th-grade ELA students are laying the groundwork for their argumentative essay about how certain foods can become harmful to the body. They used annotation guides, highlighted textual evidence, and completed graphic organizers to arrange their thoughts.


FBLA visited Fort Valley State University's Fab Lab, where students engaged with advanced technology like 3D printers. This hands-on experience allowed them to explore practical applications in furniture and clothing design, providing valuable insights into the role of innovative tools in entrepreneurship and business development.




Congratulations to Wenddy Avila-Mancio and Mahetzy Milanez-Martinez for having their artwork featured in the 2025 Capitol Art Exhibit! Supporters of these talented artists are invited to attend the exhibition reception on Wednesday, March 12th, from 4:00 to 5:30 pm.

Students in Ms. LaChristi Hunter's 6th-grade Earth Science class conducted a lab on Earth's atmosphere with a STEM focus, demonstrating how the layers of the Earth are structured based on density.

Our 8th-grade students traveled to Olympia Skate Park for a STEM-themed lesson on Newton's Laws of Motion. They constructed balloon-powered cars and raced them against one another, all while enjoying some skating. By the time they returned to school, they were eagerly asking, "When is the next field trip?"
