To simulate the U.S. Elections, students not only voted for president, but they also voted on a behavior policy amendment that could allow students with suspensions to participate in behavior incentives. Also, in light of recent events, students voted on a proposed referendum to add metal detectors at the entry points of the building. See how they voted!

Taron Ragan, Finance Manager at Microsoft and 2015 Peach County High School graduate spoke to 8th Grade FBLA and Accounting students about his career journey. He shared the challenges he faced while growing up in Fort Valley and emphasized the importance of perseverance as the first in his family to attend college. Ragan graduated from Kennesaw with a degree in Accounting and highlighted that accounting is the language of business and is applicable to many career paths.
