BMS FFA will be doing a Thanksgiving Canned Food Drive starting this Wednesday, November 1st! The last day to donate will be Wednesday, November 15th! 🥇This will be a grade level competition! The grade level that brings in the most items will receive some free time and concessions one day after Thanksgiving break! Students need to bring all items to Ms. Robertson’s room on the 7th grade hall! **FFA members…. remember this is a good way to earn leadership points!

The BMS Local School Governance Team (LSGT) meeting for November 2023 will take place on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 @ 1:30pm in the BMS Media Center. Open communication is very important to us, so we would like to extend an invitation to stakeholders associated with BMS. The BMS Spirit Club stands out as an absolute powerhouse for school pride! With an unwavering dedication to boosting school morale, the Spirit Club has consistently orchestrated electrifying pep rallies and conducted an awesome send off to the softball team when they made the playoffs. Peach County Autism Support will host the next "Coffee & Conversation" at the Dunkin in Byron on Tuesday, October 31st beginning at 8:15am!

The Byron Lions Club will be at Byron Middle School on Tuesday, December 5th to conduct FREE Vision Screenings for all students. Permission slips to accept or decline this screening will be sent home by your middle schooler beginning today! Please sign and return this form as soon as possible. The Byron Middle School Choir Program needs YOUR help! They are conducting their 2023 Byron Middle School Chorus Challenge to help generate financial support for their program. Participants in the Choir Program spend many long hours preparing to be the best they can be and are very deserving of your support! They will certainly appreciate any amount you can give and would like to thank you in advance for your generous support! Your gift will contribute towards expenses required for Choral Risers, attendance at Large Group Performance Evaluation, Travel Expenses, Competition Fees, Spring Trip and Music. The BMS Fall Sports Banquet will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023! The Fall Banquet will include student athletes who participated in softball, football & cross country. Dinner will begin at 5pm, with the awards ceremony beginning at 6pm. Players eat free! For others who wish to eat, the cost of dinner is $14 per person.
