Peach County Schools 2025-26 Pre-K Registration is Now Open! Registration for Peach County Pre-K will begin, Monday, February 24, 2025 and will end Friday, March 28, 2025. There are 38 slots available at Byron Elementary. There are 20 slots available at Hunt Elementary School and 20 slots available at Kay Road Elementary School. The slots will be filled using a lottery process. Completion of the registration process by March 28, 2025 does not guarantee your child a slot in a Pre-K class, but does guarantee that your child’s name will be entered in the lottery for a chance to earn a slot. Parents will be notified by Friday, April 25, 2025. If you have further questions, you may contact Rosa Hamlin at the Peach County Board of Education (478-825-5933). Parents and Guardians, All schools in Peach County are required to conduct Security/Emergency Drills each school year. Please be aware that today, 10/3/24, Byron Middle School will be conducting a Code Red Intruder/Weapon Drill in cooperation with local law enforcement. This drill only lasts a few minutes but prepares students and staff for how to respond if an actual emergency situation occurs.
